Your track is complete, and it is now available for selection by our clients. The definition of 'complete' is up to you, but typically it indicates that master files have been uploaded, metadata is complete and accurate, and any associated documents have been submitted.
3rd Party
The track is now in the control of another catalog administrator, publisher, etc., and that it is basically 'off limits' to further pitching, edits and promotional activity.
Need Files
Your master files have not all been uploaded yet. When you completed the metadata and listed the available versions, a 'Files' button will appear next to that song in your Approved Tracks view. Click that button will open the File Upload window where you can upload all of the appropriate files. When finished, the track's status will automatically update to Active/Complete. Please allow up to 15 minutes after uploading for the status to update itself.
Need Work-for-Hire
Since you entered a name other than yourself in the Performer field of your Track Information, you must submit an Artist Work-For-Hire agreement signed by that artist, that indicates they have given 100% clearance to the use of their performance in all media. The form you must have that artist sign can be found here. When completed, you must upload a scan of the signed document as a PDF. You'll find the file upload field in the second tab (Contracts & Files) in the Track Information for that track.
Need Documents
There is some contractual or administrative document missing, and the track cannot be considered cleared and ready to promote until that happens. In the Settings area, you'll see that you can identify what type of document needs to be uploaded for Magnetracks to remove this condition and advance the track to the next status.
Requires Edits
Edits have been requested in the 'Review Notes' area of your submission. Please either make the edits and replace the MP3 in the submission form with a new version, or withdraw the submission if you're rather not take our suggestions. We'll understand.
Declined
This track has been reviewed and declined for the current album/project to which it was submitted. The system still retains declined tracks (does not delete them), as there may be a future use for it. And it believes that every dog has its day. :)
